Our Services

Bridges to Focused Care
Diagnostic Interview Only

A diagnostic interview is a focused evaluation that explores specific concerns and provides initial clinical impressions without formal testing. This process includes a detailed conversation about developmental, medical, educational, and psychological history, as well as current challenges. Based on this discussion, we offer clinical insights, potential diagnoses (if applicable), and general recommendations. While this interview does not include standardized testing or a full report, it can be a valuable first step in understanding an individual’s needs and deciding whether further assessment is necessary.

Bridges to Comprehensive Understanding
Neuropsychological or Psychological Assessment

A comprehensive psychological assessment provides insight into an individual’s unique cognitive, emotional, and behavioral profile. Through a detailed intake and standardized testing, we explore cognitive processing, attention, executive functioning, learning styles, emotional well-being, and social interactions. Our goal is to identify strengths and areas of support to better understand how an individual thinks, learns, and engages with the world. While a thorough diagnostic interview is sometimes sufficient for gaining clarity, more in-depth testing can be valuable in complex cases where a deeper understanding or differential diagnosis is needed. The results are summarized in a detailed report that includes findings, clinical impressions (if applicable), and personalized recommendations. A feedback session ensures individuals and families understand the results and feel empowered with strategies for success at home, school, work, and daily life.

Bridges to Early Care
Early Child Assessment

An early childhood assessment is designed for children under the age of four, often to explore developmental differences, such as those related to autism. This comprehensive evaluation includes a detailed intake, a structured play-based and interactive assessment session, and, in many cases, same-day feedback to provide immediate insights. Families receive a thorough written report summarizing findings, potential diagnoses (if applicable), and individualized recommendations to support their child's growth and development. Our goal is to provide clarity and guidance so families feel informed and empowered in supporting their child’s unique strengths and needs.

Bridges to Learning and Growth
Academic Achievement

An academic achievement evaluation assesses an individual’s reading, writing, and math skills to better understand their unique learning profile. This evaluation can be conducted as a standalone service or added to a comprehensive psychological assessment for a more complete picture of academic strengths and support needs. Using standardized measures, we explore core academic skills, learning patterns, and instructional needs to provide meaningful insights. Because insurance does not cover academic testing, this service is an out-of-pocket expense. Families receive a detailed written report outlining findings and personalized recommendations to support educational planning and effective learning strategies.

Bridges to Justice and Advocacy
Forensic Assessment

Forensic psychology assessments are critical tools in both criminal and civil cases to evaluate individuals involved in legal processes. In criminal contexts, assessments often focus on competency to stand trial, risk assessment, and post-incarceration planning. Civil assessments frequently address parenting capacity, disability claims, and civil commitment. Please note: Bridges Psychological does not currently offer custody evaluation services.

Bridges to Trusted Service
Public Safety/Police Officer Assessment

Public safety and police candidate screening assessments comprehensively evaluate potential hires through structured interview and psychological measures that explore personality traits and situational judgment. Testing identifies traits like impulse control, stress tolerance, honesty and dependability. These assessments ensure that candidates are well-suited for the demands and responsibilities of public safety roles.

Bridges to Purpose and Calling
Seminary and Religious Order Assessment

Religious order and seminary assessments offer comprehensive evaluations to ensure candidates are well-suited for their vocations. These assessments incorporate key areas such as affective maturity and interpersonal skills. The process includes questionnaires, interviews, and psychological testing to provide a holistic candidate profile. This multidisciplinary approach supports informed decisions for both candidates and sponsoring organizations.

Bridges to Direction and Fulfillment
Career Assessment

A career assessment helps individuals explore their interests, strengths, and work preferences to make informed decisions about education, career paths, and professional growth. This evaluation is beneficial for adolescents considering future careers, young adults navigating job transitions, and anyone seeking greater clarity about their vocational direction. Our career assessment process includes standardized measures and structured interviews to evaluate skills, work-related values, personality traits, and learning styles. We provide personalized insights into career options, workplace environments that may be the best fit, and strategies for success in academic or professional settings. Because insurance does not cover career assessments, this service is an out-of-pocket expense. Each assessment includes a detailed written report with findings and individualized recommendations to support career planning and goal setting.

Bridges to Self Discovery
Exploratory Assessment

The exploratory assessment is a private-pay service designed to enhance self-insight, identify personal strengths and challenges, and clarify meaningful goals. This assessment includes a combination of standardized measures, clinical interviews, and structured self-reflection to develop a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns. The process is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s needs, offering targeted feedback and practical recommendations to support personal and professional growth. Results provide a foundation for setting actionable goals and developing strategies for improved self-awareness, decision-making, and overall well-being. This assessment is ideal for individuals seeking deeper self-understanding and direction in their personal or professional lives.
