Insurance and Fees
At Bridges Psychological Assessment, we understand that navigating the financial aspects of psychological evaluation can be complex. We are committed to transparency in our pricing and will discuss costs upfront to ensure clarity before scheduling an assessment. If you have any questions about fees, payment options, or insurance reimbursement, we are happy to assist you in understanding your options.
DISCLAIMER
We are in the process of obtaining credentialing with major insurance carriers in our area. At this time, we are only actively scheduling UPMC Commercial and private pay evaluations. If you would like to be seen promptly but do not have UPMC Commercial insurance, we offer private pay services at the rate listed below and can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. If you prefer to use your insurance, we can add you to our waitlist and notify you once scheduling through that insurance becomes available.

No Surprises Act
Under the No Surprises Act of 2022, individuals with group and individual health plans are protected from unexpected medical bills for most emergency services, non-emergency care from out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, and services from out-of-network air ambulance providers. For those with private health insurance, these protections eliminate the most common types of surprise billing. If you are uninsured or choose not to use your insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate detailing the expected cost of your care before your appointment. This estimate will include any related expenses, such as medical tests, prescription medications, equipment, and hospital fees.
We will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service. You may also request an estimate before booking an appointment. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges. Please save a copy of your estimate for reference. For more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 717-783-2800
